White Privilege:

"I can go shopping alone most of the time, pretty well assured that I will not be followed or harassed."-McIntosh states this as a white person refering to the things she does not have to deal with because of her race. I agree with this quote because I have noticed that people of a minority race are watched over the whole time when they shop because the store owners feel like they will steel. I feel that white people do not have to deal with that problem.
"I can choose blemish cover or bandages in “flesh” color and have them more or less match my skin."
-I found this quote to be a little funny. I never really realized this before and it made me open my eyes.
"I think whites are carefully taught not to recognize white privilege, as males are taught not to recognize male privilege."
-I feel like minorities have to deal with this and white people just go along with it.I agree with a lot of the points that McIntosh brought up in her article. I feel like a lot of them show up in our every day lives. I did find this article hard to read at parts. Some of the language was difficult for me to understand. I feel like white's privledges
